MDOT and The Barry County Drain Commission will be completing a project on the Watson Drain which will result in the closure of M-43 between the North and South ends of Sprague Rd in Delton. Sprague Rd will also be closed to thru traffic. There is a posted detour route beginning this morning until the project is complete. Happy Father’s Day!We will be paving the widened shoulders on Briggs Rd from Bass Rd to M-179. We will also start widening shoulders on Irving Rd from about Loop Rd to the first curve North of M-37 & McCann Rd from just North of M-37 to W. State Rd. All Barry CRC Board meetings will be held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30am at the BCRC Administration Building unless otherwise noticed.

RTF MEETING – 2/26/25

Rural Task Force #3 Meeting

A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 26 at 9:00 a.m. for the purpose of allowing local officials and interested citizens to provide input into the allocation of state and federal aid funds for eligible rural routes and transit systems in Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties for fiscal years 2025 – 2029. The meeting will be held at the Road Commission of Kalamazoo County, 4400 S. 26^th Street.

Questions regarding this meeting and rural federal aid projects can be directed to the appropriate agency or the Kalamazoo Area Transportation Study, Region 3 transportation administrators representing the Southcentral Michigan Planning Council, (269) 343-0766 or fnagler@katsmpo.org.
